Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Chase Baja is a vehicle companion app for Ford F-150 Raptors. This policy explains what data the app collects, where it goes, and what it does not do.

What stays on your device

The following data is stored locally and never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export or share it:

What leaves your device

Feedback (optional)

When you submit feedback through the in-app form, the following is sent to our database (Supabase):

Feedback data is used only to respond to and improve the app. It is not sold or shared with third parties.

In-app purchase

Purchase and subscription status is verified through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase receipt and entitlement status. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on what they collect.

Product links

The Build tab contains links to parts on Amazon. When you open one of these links, you are taken to Amazon.com. The links include an Amazon Associates referral tag (chasebaja-20), which means we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases. A disclosure is shown on screen whenever these links are present. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you leave the app.

Permissions

Permission Why
Bluetooth To discover and connect to your OBD-II adapter
Location (foreground) To record a GPS track when you start a trip
Location (background) To continue recording if you switch apps mid-trip
Photos / Camera To add photos to your build log and save build posters to your photo library

Location is used only during active trip recording. The app does not track your location in the background outside of a trip.

What we do not do

Children

Chase Baja is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
